Unity and diversity in the living world |

The workshop is flexible relative
to the applicants; it consists of various experimental approaches
based on simple techniques, within reach of everybody:

• Microscopic
observation of micro organisms;
• Microscopic observation of micro organisms;
• DNA extraction of various organisms and visualisation
by electrophoresis. |
The results obtained make it possible to release the criteria of
unity and diversity of the living world, to show that the cell is
the basic element of organisms and to illustrate the role of DNA
and nucleic acids.
Duration: from 1h30 to 2h00 according
to the selected modules.
Level: All.
